The Misplaced Brides Project is an ongoing fundraiser to benefit cancer research, cancer patients and their families. The final photos and collages of photos from the project are being shown and sold at various galleries and art shows (and may be included in a future book). The profit from these sales is being donated to The American Cancer Society, various cancer researchers, cancer patients and their families to help pay the costs of cancer treatments and other expenses not covered by insurance.
We are looking for "models to portray brides" for this project (no modeling experience necessary), although it is not a paid modeling job, we will give you a FREE 30 minute studio portrait session or a 10% discount on any of our wedding photography packages if you help with this project by being a model. You may use the portrait session or wedding discount for yourself, family, or even give it as a gift. It is a great way to save money on your High School Senior Portrait, Engagement Portrait, Family Portrait or any other type of portrait! If you aren't interested in a portrait session and you aren't getting married but you would like to model for the project, let us know maybe we can work out something else with you. We are also looking for wedding dresses, veils, and wedding props of any kind and locations that we can use for the project so if you have anything that you think we could use let us know. We are offering the same free portrait session for most items but again if that is not something you are interested in, let us know maybe we can work out something else with you.
