Captured Light Photography

In photography, a vignette is an increase or reduction of an image's brightness (Light or dark) or saturation (color) at the periphery compared to the image center. The most common is lighter sides and corners we can fade the image to white, black or simple fade the color.

Although a vignette is normally unintended and undesired, it is sometimes purposely introduced for creative effect, such as to draw attention to the center of the frame. A photographer may deliberately choose a lens which is known to produce a vignette. It can also be produced with the use of special filters or post-processing procedures which is the method we use as it allows us more control over the final image.
